Solidarity Farm in collaboration with Foodshed and NRCS presents the 2022 Summer Farmer Training, an engaging training program in regenerative farming.
Now, more than ever, the world is witnessing a shift in the trajectory of food production systems. We would like to empower the next generation of farmers to be a part of the regenerative movement!
The Summer Training Program is designed for local aspiring and intermediate farmers that would like to gain basic skills in regenerative farming in a cooperative and supportive environment.
By the end of the program, you will have the knowledge to grow your own food, integrate regenerative methods that sequester carbon and build healthy soil, practice farming as a climate solution, and a toolkit to begin a small commercial farm operation.
Who is this for?
Community members in San Diego are welcome to apply (must be 18+), with priority given to BIPOC, women, LGTBQ2S+, and socially disadvantaged community members who can commit to participate in the entire program.
